Kenneth Li is the broker/ owner of Century 21 Southwest, a full service real estate firm in Houston, Texas since 1988. Throughout the two decades of his professional career, he has been committed to excellence in real estate development for his community. Kenneth Li is known as a real estate specialist, developer and consultant. He was born in Taiwan and raised in Hong Kong and came to Houston in 1981. Kenneth was the founder of Texas George Realty, which was later named one of the top ten outstanding Asian-owned businesses in Houston by the “Houston Post”. In 1997, he acquired Century 21 Southwest Real Estate, a full service real estate brokerage franchise in order to immerse his business in the mainstream world. Since then, Kenneth has earned certifications as a commercial investor (CCIM), residential specialist (CRS), international properties specialist (CIPS), and certified broker (CRB).. Kenneth Li was considered a pioneer of New Chinatown by the “Houston Chronicle” and said that he was the real estate broker aided growth of community and used his success there as an entry into the mainstream in both residential and commercial real estate. Kenneth Li launched his own development with his family in 1983. Since then, he has been involved in building up some successful retail centers in New Chinatown of Houston, Texas, handful new home subdivisions consisting of 700 homes and a new 24-units of office condominiums in the heart of New Chinatown. He is currently working on two new projects: a new development of a mixed use of retail/ residential condominiums and a new subdivision of 195 lots. He was known as the person “provides impetus to developing Houston’s New Chinatown” by Commercial Investment Real Estate Journal in Jan. / Feb. 2003 edition and a big promoter of New Chinatown by Houston Business Journal, Aug., 2006.

Long active in public affairs in local community, Kenneth Li served as 2007 board member of both Houston Association of Realtors and Texas Association of Realtors, the President Liaison to Hong Kong by Nation Association of Realtors,  the founding presidents of Greater Houston Chinese Real Estate Association and Asian American Real Estate Association, the president and chairman of Houston Asian Junior Chamber of Commerce, board member and vice president of both Taiwanese Chamber and Chinese Chamber of Commerce, Co-chair of Association of Chinese Organization of Houston, executive board of Chinese Community Center … He was appointed by Houston Mayors to serve as the first Asian American board member of City Planning Commission, Sharpstown Economic Development Authority and SW Houston Redevelopment Authority, and the chairman of Sharpstown Management District.
